滨海小外TBFLS

    我校小学三部2017英语演讲比赛于12月21日下午在报告厅拉开帷幕。小学三部于玲玲主任、杜建东副主任、外教Milly以及24位家长代表应邀参加此次活动。

    经过初赛与复赛的层层角逐，三到六年级共有八位同学突出重围进入本场决赛。通过教师的指导，选手们对定题演讲进行了精心的准备。舞台上，他们落落大方，语音语调标准，肢体语言丰富，演讲内容引人入胜，不时博得台下阵阵掌声。

    在才艺展示环节，选手们充分展现了自己的才华，悠扬的歌声、美妙的乐器弹奏、曼妙的舞蹈都给现场观众留下了深刻的印象。

    一、二年级小同学的节目展示也是本次比赛一道靓丽的风景。英语课本剧、英文歌曲串烧、英文诗朗诵以及英语音乐短剧让现场的观众陶醉其中。

    最终来自四年2班的陈奕竹同学荣获此次大赛一等奖。

    英语演讲比赛激发了同学们英语学习的积极性，提高了英语口语水平，而且丰富了校园生活。本次活动充分凸显了我校外语特色，践行了博学之美。

Brilliant Gala—English Speech Contest in Campus Three

On December 21st, the 2017 English Speech Contest was held in the hall of Campus Three. Ms Yu, Mr Du and foreign teacher Milly attended the activity. In addition, the English teachers, some parents and the sixth graders watched this “gala”.

At the very beginning, the Latin Dance Club gave us an amazing show to declare the contest began. Under the guidance of English teachers, the eight contestants from Grade Three to Grade Six gave the speech on the topic of “A Special Day at School” and “Somewhere I want to go”, which not only showed their competence in English but also their dreams deep in their hearts. Pupils’ authentic pronunciation, rich content and brilliant talent won warm applause from the audience. What’s more, the English show given by the first graders and second graders made the contest more impressive.

In the end, Chen Yizhu from Class 2 Grade 4 got the first prize. We are looking forward to the next English Speech Contest.
