滨海小外TBFLS

    我校第五届外语节于12月拉开序幕。21日下午，我校小学一部英语演讲比赛的决赛在一部报告厅举行。俞爽副校长，学校教科研处许宁副主任，学部褚建平主任、冯莹副主任、大队辅导员刘娟老师以及学生家长代表出席了本次活动。

    本次演讲比赛共有10名选手进入决赛。其中三年级的两位同学以“特殊的一天”为主题向大家讲述了自己意义非凡的一日经历；来自四到六年级的八位同学以“我想去的地方”为主题向大家描绘了自己的向往之地，其中既包括国内胜地，也有国外景点，甚至有同学想要穿越到过去和未来。同学们流利清晰的英文表达感染了在座的每一位观众。

    演讲结束后，选手们还为大家带来了精彩纷呈的才艺展示，英文绕口令、英文歌曲、英文诗朗诵……充分展现了小选手们扎实的口语功底和丰富的课余生活。

    一二年级的小朋友们也不甘示弱，形象的字母操让人大呼可爱，惟妙惟肖的话剧表演让观众们畅游在有趣的动物世界中。

    整场比赛秩序井然，过程高潮涌现，观众们用热烈的掌声表达了他们对选手和演员们的称赞。经过激烈的比拼，来自四年三班的王宣皓同学摘得了桂冠。褚主任及外教老师对选手们的表现给予了高度评价，最终比赛在颁奖仪式中画上了圆满的句号。

    本次演讲比赛为同学们搭建了展示英语口语的平台，锻炼了同学们的英语表达能力，提升了孩子们的舞台表现力，体现了本校 “融中西文化，育国际英才” 的办学理念，为滨海小外第五届外语节的画卷中增添了精彩的一笔。

The Fifth English Speech Contest of TBFLS Campus One

        The fifth foreign language festival of TBFLS has begun in December. The final of the fifth English speech contest was held in Campus One on December 21st, which started with an opening speech given by Deputy Principal Yu.

        There were ten competitors in this final round. The topic for Grade 3 was "A special day at school" and the students shared their meaningful and unforgettable experiences. The topic for Grade 4 to 6 was "Somewhere I want to go". Some students wanted to go to domestic resorts while others preferred scenic spots abroad. Even a few students imagined to go to the past and the future. The competitors' wonderful performance impressed every present audience. After the speech, each competitor gave a talent show, including English tongue twisters, songs and poem reading, which showed their excellent oral English. Students from Grade 1 and Grade 2 also presented brilliant shows, which drew applause and cheers of the audience from time to time. The contest went on orderly and the audience applauded the competitors warmly. After the intense contest, Leo, from Grade Four, Class Three got the first prize. The competitors' performance was highly appreciated by the Director Chu and the foreign teacher Tati. The competition was rounded off with the award ceremony.

        The English speech contest provided a wonderful opportunity for students to show their oral English and performance ability, which embodied the school's educational ideas and enriched the foreign language festival.
