滨海小外近500名师生在全国英语演讲比赛中再创佳绩！

展现英语演讲魅力，激发学生学习热情

我校学生在第十五届中国日报社“21世纪•新东方杯”全国中小学英语演讲比赛勇创佳绩

在第十五届中国日报社“21世纪•新东方杯”全国中小学英语演讲比赛中，我校小学二部三年二班胡涵予同学以天津赛区决赛小学低年级组冠军的优异成绩成功晋级全国总决赛，并获得小学组低年级组全国亚军；中学部九年四班任书禾同学以天津赛区初中组亚军的优异成绩成功晋级全国总决赛，并获得初中组二等奖。

In the 15th China Daily “21st Century ž New Oriental Cup” National High School and Primary School English Speaking Competition, Hu Hanyu from Class 2 Grade 3 in Primary Campus Two of TBFLS took the second place in the National Finals(Low Grade Group in Primary School - Grade 1~3). Ren Shuhe from Class 4 Grade 9 in Secondary School of TBFLS won the second prize in the National Finals (Junior School Group).

此次比赛为我校参赛以来取得的最好成绩，共416名同学创下佳绩，喜获天津市决赛冠、亚军及一、二、三等奖的好成绩。在天津赛区决赛中，我校共4人荣获一等奖，50人荣获二等奖，49人荣获三等奖；在天津赛区复赛中共313人荣获一、二、三等奖；此外，共72名教师获指导教师奖。

This is the best achievement our school has made since the first participation. 416 students create honorable achievements. In the Tianjin Regional Finals, 4 students won the first prize, 50 students won the second prize and 49 students won the third prize. In the Tianjin Regional Semifinals, 313 students won the first prize, the second prize and the third prize respectively. In addition, 72 teachers won the Excellent Guide Teacher Award.

“21世纪杯”全国中小学生英语演讲比赛由中国日报社于2002年创办，每年面向全国在校中、小学生举行。历年来，大赛得到了全国各地教育行政和学术部门及广大中小学校的普遍认可，并得到国家教育部、国务院新闻办公室、国际知名英语教学机构及国内外著名高校、新闻界、英美使领馆的充分认可和大力支持。本届赛事的演讲主题分别为：高中组：Does school always kill creativity?

初中组：The best gift we can give other is…；小学组高年级组（4至6年级）：Me in the eyes of my teacher/friends；小学组低年级组（1至3年级）：Someone I want to meet。

The speech topics of the competition are as follow：Does school always kill creativity for Senior School Group, The best gift we can give other is… for Junior School Group, Me in the eyes of my teacher/friends for High Grade Group in Primary School - Grade 4~6, and Someone I want to meet for Low Grade Group in Primary School - Grade 1~3.

此次比赛展现了我校学生的英语水平，激发了学生学习外语的热情。选手们各具特色，用自己的方式展现英语演讲的独特魅力，有的一身正装，台风优雅；有的面部表情、肢体语言丰富，演讲范儿十足；有的发音吐字、语音语调标准，震慑全场；有的别出心裁，用生活中的真实事例和现场互动吸引听众。此次比赛取得的优异成绩，不仅有助于全面展示我校中小学英语教学水平和英语教学的成果，更有助于全面提高学生英语综合运用能力尤其是口语表达的能力，推动我校英语教学走上一个新台阶。

This competition displays the English level of our students and inspires students’ enthusiasm of learning English as well. What we have achieved not only contributes to showing the high teaching level and accomplishment of our school, but also contributes to improving the English integrated applied abilities, especially in spoken English, which promotes the English teaching of our school to a new stage.
